It is almost summer and as most of you, I love being tan or having a beautiful glow. But let’s face it, being tan is a hassle especially when you’re one of the palest people on earth, like me!
Being tan means countless hours frying in the sun, ending up looking as pink as a shrimp, and a skin that hurts.
I’ve always been eyeing the Isle of Paradise tanning products but never found myself buying them until recently.

I started by getting the Isle of Paradise tanning drops: For those of you who don’t know, these tanning drops are to mix with your moisturizer and then you can apply your moisturizer as usual. The more drops you add the more tan you’ll be.
I used the light shade first not really knowing what to expect, but with the results I wanted, I couldn’t see a too big of a difference; I then switched to the medium tanning drops. These worked better and the difference was more significant, but I realized I was using way too many drops to reach a certain level of tan, and it wasn’t worth it, as in about 2-3 weeks the bottle was almost empty.
I recently got the dark tanning drops and these work perfectly, and i’m able to reach a certain level of tan without wasting to much products.

Here is what I do:
I take a few pumps of body lotion for each body part and mix in:
. 8 drops for each arm
. 10 drops for each leg
. 6 drops for my back
. 6 drops for my chest + belly
. 2 drops on my face and neck

I did these steps 3 days in a row every time I got out the shower. It is all really up to you how often you want to use the tanning drops, you can do it once a week or repeat every other day to maintain the tan. I tend to let my skin be for a few days and after about a week or so when I see the tan fading away I do it all over again.

I found this solution to be great, it avoids the bad effects of the sun on my skin but I am still able to get that glow we all love during summertime!
